Hi All,
Stuck at home trying to image between the clouds and the trees. More or less look straight up from my back yard. Had to wait till after 4 AM until the North American and Pelican had cleared the trees. This image captured in SC Live Stack and cleaned up in Photoshop.
Equipment:
Stellarvue SV70T 70 mm with a .8 reducer. Focal length 336 mm at about f/4.8
IDAS D2 LPS filter
ZWO ASI294 MC Pro -10c
30 sec exposure 300 gain 10 brightness
SharpCap 3.2.6377
Photoshop CC 2020 Crop, color balance, small stretch, noise reduction
The off center halo around brightest stars is due to reflection from the LPS filter which was attached in front of the .8 reducer. Moving this behind the reducer should remove this. I try to keep the amount of futzing with the image low so this flaw is preserved.

Thanks for having a look.

Great color and clarity, Chris. Beautiful view. The 294 has always been an excellent performing camera. I also have a Stellarvue (80mm APO Triplet) which are fantastic scopes. Interesting about the filter placement, which the IDAS filters are really nice. I always placed my filter behind the reducer/flattener using a filter drawer but now piggybacked on my C11" up in the observatory, I can no longer do that. I am placing the filter in front like you are now but haven't noticed the halo. I'll have to go back and take a look at my images again. Perhaps PS (PI in my case) can clean it up.
Trees and clouds- are you sure you don't live near me?

Thanks for the kind words guys.
Normally I install the filter behind the reducer. This is a 2 inch screw in type and I'm always hesitant to hang the weight of the camera on the thin threads of the filter. I know filter drawers are available but I like to keep everything as simple as possible.
