I did had a go at M81 before but with older mount and no reducer (so full f/10), I only managed to get some blob.
Now with new mount and 0.62x reducer, it is all a completely other story. And also the first time I used flats
And again: no guiding
Equipment:
Ioptron CEM25EC mount (no guiding)
Meade LX65 8” f/10 ACF OTA
Optec Lepus Standard 0.62x reducer
Zwo ASI385MC camera
Baader IR/UV Cut filter
Captured with SharpCap. 149 x 60 seconds lights. Gain 200 (out of 600). 10 x dark. 100 x flats.
Stacked in DeepSkyStacker.
Processed in PS: Curves and Levels (allowed blow out of center for way more surrounding details). Color saturation, mainly for blue and magenta. Unsharp Mask. Noise reduction.
