90% waxing moon at approx 45 degrees elevation. 6th Feb 2020 @ 18:26.

90% waxing moon at approx 45 degrees elevation.
Vixen 81s refractor + Wratten #25 (red) filter + Atik 314E CCD camera.
2 panels each of 100 frames @ 0.3 fps, RAW 16.
SharpCap 3.2, Autostakkert!3, Registax 6.1
Panels stitched with Microsoft's Image Composite Editor (ICE).
Stack best 30% of 100 for each panel.
Registax wavelets: layer 1 = 2.0, layer 2 = 3.0, layer 3 = 2.0. Contrast = 95, Brightness = 5.

Minos

A red filter or IR685 filter are useful for dealing with atmospherics and brightness. Virtual Moon Atlas is a good tool for finding your way around the moon.

Indeed! I use an Ha night sky filter to guide in NIR for precisely that reason. Might apply it to lunar :)
