January 2020

Post by mAnKiNd »

January is not entirely over, but with no clear skies in sight, I though I'd post a few targets I've enjoyed acquiring through Live Stack in Sharpcap. All frames saved individually and post processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop.

Full rez and details in the links:

Attached is a picture of my super dark sky backyard where these images were acquired...

Cheers

Nice images Minos. Your dedication and persistence under Bortle 8 skies is commendable.

Excellent, Minos. Glad we connected on Astrobin. All you need now is a pair of shades to wear to block the LP or spend a lot of $$$$$$$$$$ like I did and build an observatory on the roof of your house. ;)

haha that's funny!

I don't own the place I'm currently at (property here in NY is, quite astronomically priced), but we are moving to a new, slightly darker location in a few months, so things should improve.

Good advise regarding shades! an observatory is on the list...someday..

Glad we connected too :)
