The Moon, w/c 3rd December

#1

Post by NeilG »

At last - a couple of clearish evenings - dodging a bit of cloud with good transparency but average seeing.

'First light' with this setup. I usually do Lunar with my C11, but I've mothballed that this winter as there are no planets in view given my horizons. so I'm trying some Lunar work with my 127mm f7.5 Apo, an x2 tele-extender and the ASI290.

All images are the best 25% of 10000 frames processed in PiPP, Autostakkert and Registax (for wavelets). click on the image for full size version.

In no particular order:-

Very good Neil. The moon is always good value when there is intermittent cloud & 10,000 frames increases the probability of a decent image.

With my recent captures, I have stacked using Resample 2.0x which has improved some images.
