Celestron CG5 mount, Altair 66ED refractor + 0.8x reducer/flattener + Altair 183C, unguided.
Captured with SharpCap 3.2 (unguided), processed with Astro Pixel Processor + GIMP.
Stacks were built as follows: 15x120s, 30x60s, 30x30s, 50x10s, 50x4s, 50x2s
Each stack was 20 darks, 100 bias, 100 flats.

Hi Dave,
Nice image as you can still see the Trapezium, this is something I plan to have a go at with Orion at some point as the Trapezium is so damned bright going to leave it a bit later with the optimistic hope of getting more than one clear night in a row, and also might get a colour camera as I am then dealing with less separate stacks of images to combine to HDR although it might be an interesting project to combine HDR on Ha / Oiii / Sii possibly more Ha than the OII/Sii as this is probably going to be the brightest layer as it is only processing time and with the UK weather we both get plenty of non imaging nights
Cheers
Nick
