Re: Crab Nebula, Messier 1
Thanks for the compliments, really appreciate it.
This was imaged using a C11" SCT @f/7 using a ZWO ASI294MC Pro cooled to -10 and an Optolong L-Enhance filter. Camera gain was 300 and brightness 4. Stacking was 120s guided/dithered exposures up to 30 mins. Flats and darks applied.

Very nice for 30 min of total exposure. Your imaging settings for the 294 are close to what I use, -10c, 300 gain, but I only have the 6 inch RC and use a brightness of 9 and frame exposure of 30 sec. and with the reducer I end up at f6.7 so not far from your f7. I wonder if you turned up brightness to push the histogram off the left edge you could go shorter exposure time since you have 11 inch aperture.

Re: Crab Nebula, Messier 1
Thanks the compliments and comments. I've been playing with brightness of 10 and 20 with the L-enhance NB and L-pro LP filters with different gain and exposure time settings. Also tried some of the suggestions by the Brain. Some pros and cons observed with the different settings which are also DSO-dependent but I will keep tinkering with them.
