Cocoon Nebula

Post by umasscrew39 »

Imaged from a C11" EdgeHD @f/7 using a ZWO ASI 294 MC Pro with an Optolong L-eNhance filter at -10 degrees. Darks (30) were applied and image post-processed in PixInsight. This image is from 6 stacks taken on 2 evenings for a total of 4.4 hrs integration using SC, taken as 60s unguided exposures.

Failure is just an excuse to try something else drink more beer or spend more money really need to find a less expensive hobby. So many gadgets so little time and funds.

Thanks Nick

I’m in the middle- 63. But work out (weight lifting and cycling) 6 days a week and black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Best part- taking early retirement in Dec so I can play more!! Just need to keep out of the wife’s hair as she still wants to work.
