For anyone starting out with this hobby, below are a couple of SC screenshots of the capture in progress. In the first picture use of the Target Name to provide meaningful names for the images; typical settings for M27 capture using a 183C camera; a typical log histogram for a deep sky object that has been correctly exposed; note that the object is not visible in the display. In the second picture: use of Display Histogram Stretch to brighten the object and ensure it is central in the frame.
