Well finally had a clear night I was beginning to think it would never happen. So had a session imaging from 22:15 to 03:15 and finally got to try out the new mount and 6nm astronomik filters. Still tweaking the PHD2 settings but the guiding stayed under a total error of 0.38 all night so pleased with that.

Exposures Ha 30 x 180s / Oiii 21 x 180s / Sii 25 x 180s

It is the widest I can currently go without Mosaic but still not using the full image circle of the scope but my budget won't cover a full frame astro camera but I am looking at the QHY268c as a potential colour option when it is finally realised and that has a full APS-C sensor and is one of the newer sony Exmor BSI chips as well so could be interesting will just probably need to sell a major organ to fund it though

Very nice, Nick. I like wide FOV images as they put things into perspective of the vastness of space despite many of the DSOs being many light-years in size. I need to figure PHD2 out to extend my exposures but with so few clear nights, I hate to waste them just figuring out a different software. So, sticking with 60s exposures for now. The 1600 is a nice camera. I've been happy with it too. Congrats again on a great image.
