A 98% waning moon which had risen 2 hours prior to capture. 1600x1427 image at https://www.astrobin.com/407043/.

Equipment used was a Vixen 81s + Atik 314E on a Celestron AVX mount. An IR Cut Filter was used to reduce glare.

SharpCap 3.2 was used to capture 100 FITS frames for each panel using MONO16 with exposure 8ms. SiriL was used to register & stack the best 50% of frames in each panel. Microsoft Image Composite Editor (ICE) was used to stitch the 2 panels. Final processing was carried out in GIMP, Filters > Enhance > Sharpen (Unsharp Mask) and Contrast with a slight adjustment in Curves.
