Altair 66-ED refractor, Planostar 0.8x reducer/flattener, Atik 314E CCD camera (16-bit ADC).
SharpCap 3.2 + FITS Liberator + Siril + GIMP 2.10 + ASCOM driver
[unguided]

250 lights, 100 darks, 100 bias, 100 flats
exposure=0.5s (well that is the only setting there is!).

Quite pleased with this as a first attempt with 'new to me' technology as I didn't blow out the Trapezium (trust in the histogram). Might be the edge of Running Man on this image? Next time I will capture both.

Very nice! How come it only gives you 0.5s?

The histogram was showing saturated so I backed off the exposure. Have since found out that things might be different with the 16-bit ADC. An experienced Atik user told me the trapezium won’t burn out on higher exposure.

I will revisit with higher values and post the outcome into this thread.
