Caroline's Rose (NGC 7789) is a georgous open cluster of colourful starfields 7.6kly away from us in the constellation of Cassiopia.

I captured each Red, Green, Blue and Luminance channel as a Live Stack in Sharpcap and then combined & mastered the final stack in Pixinsight/Photoshop.

Nice Minos, a very productive 30 minutes of capture. I see Caroline, who discovered it, was the sister of William Herschel.

There are plenty of interesting targets in and around Cassiopeia and it is well placed at this time of the year, coming around from the east (at least in the UK).
