I'm looking at the AST LIGHTWEIGHT GUIDING KIT F3.5 for ASI cameras.
It has a true FOV of 2.9 x 3.8 degr., would it still work? I read an upper limit of about 2.5 degr. for your polar alignment feature.

Any help appreciated

Hi Bjorn, this should be fine - the other end of the scale (small field of view) is more of a problem. You could always use a smaller ROI to drop the FOV, but I don't think you will need to. There is a small loss of accuracy due to the reduced magnification, but again not enough to worry about - aligning to closer than 1 minute of arc isn't necessary.
