I have been using Sharpcap 3.0 for " Live Viewing" and saving my stacks with the save as viewed option. I want to start post processing my frames. If I use the FWHM filter to eliminate bad frames, would using the save as raw16 stack fits option be a good alternative to loading my individual subs to a program like Deep Sky Stacker?
Thanks for all the work that has gone into Sharpcap!!!

Re: Saving live stack
Hi,
yes, that's the idea of the saving as either the Raw 16 or Raw 32 bit stack. It's a middle ground between saving the stack as viewed and re-stacking the individual frames.
cheers,
Robin
