What's a good % to aim for?
I always adjust my settings to achieve <0.1%, but would appreciate any input.
Thanks

Re: % of pixels not stacked due to sigma limits
Hi,
In an average frame where there is nothing that needs to be cut out then the number should be small – probably a few tens to a few hundreds of pixels (maybe a few thousand on a very large resolution sensor). Think about the percentage of pixels that are being excluded in each frame – that should be significantly less than 1% under normal circumstances. Obviously the number should rise drastically in frames where there is a problem such as a satellite trail running across.
Hope this helps, Robin
