Hi all!
First of all, sorry if this has been discussed but I couldn't find it in the forum.
Does individual frames lose quality when they are saved while live stacking? I save them in .fits but I'd like to know if they are as good as when you capture them while not live stacking.
Thank you!

Re: Live stack saved frames quality
Hi,
they have exactly the same quality as if you captured them without live stacking. The one thing to note is that if you capture raw frames whilst life stacking then any dark or flat frame correction is that you have chosen to apply are *NOT* applied to the save raw frames. If you capture the same frames with the same settings while you are not live stacking then dark and flat frame corrections are included in the saved frames.
Cheers, Robin
