The last part of the 3rd video is also cool: 2 cloud-layers moving in different directions :)

Brenski,

I watched the last half of your 3rd video that Menno suggested. I like your choice of music. May I recommend Franco Funghi as another possibility:

Here is another good choice:

thanks for the comment. yep. it was a little strange seeing those weather fronts approaching each other at that speed.

excellent music choices. i always seem to fall foul of YT's copyright system. i've heard you can change the speed of a track slightly to bypass the detection algorithm, but (for now) i'm using only Royalty Free music. Do your two recommendations fall into this category?

Having never uploaded to YT, I really can't say how aggressive they are. What I do know is that plenty of fans upload music tracks. Tracks that I listen to have been up there forever but it seems that if it includes video of an artist's performance then it is at higher risk of coming down. The Skylon album by Ott and the Franco Funghi clip have been there a very long time. My guess is that if you give the artist profuse attribution and thanks in the metadata then you are good.

For example, here is a fan of Mariya Takeuchi who uploaded her mega hit from 1984 called Plastic Love. Currently she's racked up 39 million views but she writes:

Singer : Mariya Takeuchi
Track : Plastic Love
Album : VARIETY ( 1984 )
Record Label : @ Alfa Moon
Photographer : Alan Levenson - http://alanlevenson.com

Producer : Tatsuro Yamashita
Songwriter : Mariya Takeuchi

I own nothing shown in the video! Everything here goes to their respective owners.

----------

1 year of plastic love!!

Full 7 min version of this cool 80's japanese song.

Plastic Love, by Mariya Takeuchi. Album "VARIETY" ( 1984 )

I got the audio a day before the original video was taken down, so I decided to make justice and re-upload it myself. This might be taken down too, who knows for sure.

UPDATE : they've allowed me to keep the video as long as I can't take AD revenue from it, we're safe for now!

The timestamp says that it has been there since July 5, 2017

That change doesn't work anymore. What I always doe is that I just choose the music I initially want from my own music collection, then make a 10 second clip with just a random photo and 20 seconds of that music and upload it to YT. And then I'll wait and see if the copyright stuff comes up or not. For me it's a very quick way to check it before I am doing all the editing :)

As this week is the peak for the annual Draconid Meteor showers, thought I'd setup the timelapse for last night: There's a lot of activity, meteors? ISS, other satellites and an airplane. If you can see more than 16 different items in the 2-minute clip (2hr timelapse), then well done!

is there a way to embed these YT clips for easier viewing?
