To put that into context, Saturn's moon Titan is 0.8 arcsec in diameter.

Steve.
Why not. More precision is better. 8-)

In CdC, the "Position" icon to the right of the "Advanced Search" magnifying glass, lets you specify a location by RA/Dec or Alt/Az. Then hit slew. Steve. That is what I have done and does not allow to use decimals, which is more precise. For example: 08h 31m 41.70s 52° 45 16.8

Re: Abell 2256 cluster + use of SharpCap annotations

Doing the negative and then fading back the histogram is a good way of doing annotation. I generally do it in PI on a positive image but it ends up looking too busy for things like galaxy fields - so that is a good approach Tim That was indeed the reason for going negative, it became too busy. Also...

That would be useful if I do not want to rely on Internet connection and using Cartes du Ciel. For some reason, Cartes du Ciel does not allow to enter exact coordinates for objects. 8-)

Nice image! 8-)

I like seeing distant galaxy clusters imaged. They are often my favorite objects to look at through EAA. 8-)

I like that idea. What would be cool is if we can use the Deep Sky Survey or PanSTARRS for GOTO image.

I would like to test that out when I have the opportunity. It could be useful for non-cooled camera. 8-)

Nice image of M101. 8-)

I have done some near infrared myself with the ASI294mc Pro. I use #29 red filter, Lumicon Night Sky H-Alpha filter, and 850 nm filter.

I have gone deep with them as faint as over magnitude 20. 8-)

Re: Plate Solving Issues

I did update ASTAP. It helps. I also should of have kept the object focused. Focusing is paramount for plate solving.
