Re: A quick Lunar Terminator from 6th Feb

Indeed, given how bouncy the seeing was, with intermittent cloud. One pane missing from the north end - didn't give it enough overlap - note to self - overlap more - its only disk space. Granted a lot fi disk space - ~20Gb per pane..

I must finish processing and cropping the main features.

Re: ZWO ASI533MC_Pro and Sensor analysis problems

like you, I had similar trouble. See this post :-
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2202

I finally got it to work with a starting exposure of 3.2ms - try something similar and see if it works.

Re: Sharpcap freezes during sensor linearity part of sensor analysis

Finally got it to work @ 3.2ms starting exposure - I re-ran the 16 bit RAW as well, so now I've got a 'matched' set.

thanks for your help

Re: Sharpcap freezes during sensor linearity part of sensor analysis

Robin Thanks for the quick reply. I'll try your suggestion today. Of course, I've got the 16 bit working so I was able to use that last night to get some test images. Not quite got my head around One Shot Colour for deep sky yet - especially getting the image stretched while live stacking Regards Neil

Sharpcap freezes during sensor linearity part of sensor analysis

I managed to get the sensor analysis done for 16 bit RAW on my ZWO ASI%33MC-Pro - it was a bit of an ordeal as it seems to be very sensitive to the initial exposure and Sharpcap would sometime freeze during bit depth, sometimes while doing the e/ADU test and sometimes later in the process, but I got...

A couple more craters from earlier thi smonth

I'm beginning to like the latest imaging setup - either that or my processing is getting better - some of my sharpest images yet. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49239928527_0a57f5aea7.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49239234493_053542937c.jpg Now, if only we can some clear skies - I'll ...

The Moon, w/c 3rd December

At last - a couple of clearish evenings - dodging a bit of cloud with good transparency but average seeing. 'First light' with this setup. I usually do Lunar with my C11, but I've mothballed that this winter as there are no planets in view given my horizons. so I'm trying some Lunar work with my 127...
