Incorrect screen display during capture v3.3.6882

Robin, this happened a couple of nights ago, then went back to the expected: this time, I managed to grab a screen shot - please look at the bottom line, the status displays: captures were started in both copies within seconds of each other... https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0cJ0DiRHGTmiTF Log ...

Re: Possible brain window bug

Hi, Robin, sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this: I've tried a variety of combinations using v3.3, and with only one exception, which I've been unable to repeat, it seems to be OK if I'm running 2x64-bit copies, or 2 x2-bit : the case I can't reproduce was 1x32+1x64... as I've frequentl...

Profile not saving focuser setting (v3.3.6882-64b)

Robin, as usual, my setup is a little more complicated than usual, but I don't see why that should prevent correct behaviour... My ASCOM focuser (Moonlite compatible) supports 2 motor units, since I have a motor on each scope: SC seems to save only the last set focuser, rather than saving the focuse...

Possible brain window bug

Hi, Robin, this probably sounds a bit daft, but should I be able to open the brain window more than once in a session? I assume so, since it remains available in the GUI, and the documentation doesn't say only once: also, the attached snip of log shows it opens for time, but subsequently, despite th...

Re: Can't Plate Solve with Hyperstar

Hi,
I experienced this same issue in the past when trying to use Astrotortilla v0.7, tried a bunch of things, but never could get it to work: I tried the 0.8 beta, and it worked first time...

Re: What's causing these "bubble" shapes, I think they're stars out of focus???

Joe,
I don’t have to break down, but on the occasions when I have, it’s help collimation pretty well.

Happy to be able to share experience,
Carl

Re: What's causing these "bubble" shapes, I think they're stars out of focus???

Joe, your hyperstar need collimating - that’s what causes those bubble shapes. You adjust it by making *small* adjustments to the push/pull pairs of screws around the base of the hyperstar. Make sure that the rotation screws (the single ones) are finger-tight before starting this - this problem can ...

Suggestion: Flats to include camera name

Hi, Robin, another suggestion to come out of my session tonight is to have the camera name included [at the start] of the saved flat field name - it's a pain with 2 cameras, having the flats in the same folder, but only named for the time taken - I have to remember which I did first, since there's n...
