quick questions about new SDK - bit depth & force still mode

Hi Robin, hope you're well, With the latest update and the latest QHY SDK, can we now enable the option in Sharpcap settings to "save 10/12/14 bit images..."? Could you please shed some light on the practical differences offered by enabling "force still mode"? I don't remember se...

Re: Default settings values for image controls panel

Thank you Robin, you guidance is spot on, indeed, for my QHY183C, the value 64 for R, G and B gives the correct scaling.

Many thanks again!

Introduce a pause between frames for cooldown?

Hi Robin, How does one go about introducing a pause in Sharcpap to help "cool down" and improve noise in an uncooled sensor? Would the 'Frame Rate Limit" function serve this purpose? For example, if one sets their exposures to acquire at 1s (1fps) and then sets their 'Frame Rate Limit...

Using Sharpcap to guide with your Imaging Scope/Camera in PHD2

So I think I've just come up with a new way (correct me if I'm wrong) to guide when acquiring high-speed high-gain exposures...with your imaging scope and camera!..I've been thinking about this for a while now but just had some time to test it (indoors) and I think it works ok. I'll try to explain i...

+1 for a monitored folder...was thinking of this a while ago as a way to rerun a stack.
