Robin,
I'm using 4.0.9152 from 7/11/2022, and I'm seeing this issue also.
Like we were talking about a week or two ago (I think)... it seems that the main window is taking control of the mouse scroll and not passing it to child windows.

Re: Weird diffraction spike issue
What's really weird, is that there isn't a defining line as far as left/right or top/bottom. If you notice in that second image there is a star without the diagonal spike to the left of the top one that does have it. It may have a small amount of it buried in the nebulosity, but if so it isn't much....

Re: Additional live-stacking filters
Yeah, I think the roundness and inverse sky brightness filters would really round things out for those of us in windy, variable, and light poluted conditions.

Re: Additional live-stacking filters
Hi, do you have any idea why you need to nudge the FWHM upwards? Could it be that your focus is drifting slightly (maybe as the temperature changes). I'm kind of worried that this is the sort of thing that someone else will be relying on the FWHM to detect... cheers, Robin I'm really not sure. I ha...

Weird diffraction spike issue
I was getting some very ugly lopsided diffraction spikes on my f/3.9 Newt, and after a few hours of investigation and tweaking, it is now much, much better. (Long story short... pinched optics, collimation, mirror clip spikes, and focuser tube in light path). bad_star.PNG Anyway, I now have a differ...

Re: Additional live-stacking filters
2 is interesting - I hadn't considered that before, but it makes sense to try to catch thin cloud or the target dropping into the murk nearer the horizon. Yeah, I would use this feature all the time. Neighbor's lights come on in hazy skies, fall asleep before dawn and a stack gets ruined because of...

Additional live-stacking filters
1. Add a filter based on the "roundness" of one or more reference stars. The brightness and FWHM filters are nice, but they have to be constantly adjusted to maintain the same quality of stars... i.e. FWHM can go up and brightness can go down for the same <relatively speaking> quality of s...

Re: ASI294MC - Pro offset
I had first light with it last night, and I ended up with a substantial green glow around the edges, even though I used a master dark and flat. Looks like I have some 'sperimentin to do.
(The star colors it captured were phenomenal though)
