Re: Sharpcap always on top
Robin,
Looks like an intermittent thing - has happened a couple of times now, but was back to normal again last night - I'm putting it down to my PC rather than SC.

Sharpcap always on top
not sure if this is a bug, or meant to work this way. When I'm using a two monitor setup and livestacking (monitor 1 running SC control panels and monitor 2 showing livestack image), The Sharpcap on Mon 1 seems to be in 'always on top' mode such that I can't access other apps (browser or Cart du Cie...

First light for my 2nd new ASI533 - the original had a fault and was replaced by FLO. I just needed to do some tests - some lights, flats, darks and dark flats to prove that the fault seen in the first camera was absent. So, here are 3 images all taken on 20th each using 12 sec exposures, gain 110. ...

Re: OSC - ZWO ASI 533MC Pro - White Balance
Thanks for that - similar to my thinking.
Seems sensible to set WB to 50/50/50 and balance later in post processing - almost the same as doing RGB with a mono camera .

Re: Some clos(er) up Lunar features from 6th Feb
Given my tree mangled horizon, I am getting very familiar with the moon between ~75% and full as that all I get t see at a sensible dark hour.
Re: Settings
Have you tried using the 'brain' function in Sharpcap? Or, you might find this link useful https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/672344-gain-and-sub-exposure-calculation-spreadsheet-for-the-zwo-asi183-and-294/?hl=%20sub%20%20exposure%20%20tables. It has been updated several times and now includes calcu...

Any recommendations on which is best:-
White Bal (Red) 50 and White Bal (Blue) 50 or
white bal (red) auto and white bal (blue) auto
Or just what difference does it make?
