Re: Reduced frame-rate with SC 3.2.6482.0

Hi,

did you manage to capture a log from one of the sessions where you got the low recording frame rate? If so, please can you share it so I can see if there is anything that might point to the cause.

cheers,

Robin

Re: Sequence Saving and Loading

Hi Phil, you are quite correct - moving from the planner to the advanced editor is a one way operation - once you have done it, you cannot go back. The planner only understands some of the things that the advanced editor can do, and only knows how to turn the planner information into an advanced edi...

Re: QHY 268-C sensor analysis delivers false SystemGain (-e/ADU) and Fullwell Cap.

Hi, I would interpret Dr. Qiu's comment to be the same point that I am making - that if the R/G/B white balance settings are set too high it will affect the results. He is suggesting that 16 is the correct 'neutral' value, but I notice from the sensor analysis reports I have that SharpCap seems to b...

Re: QHY600PRO binnig 16 bit 18 bit 19 bit 20 bit error

Hi, I suspect that the SDK may actually support a 32 bit readout, but SharpCap certainly has no code to enable or use that feature. I can see something in the SDK definition that *might* be related to this, but there is no mention of it in the documentation :( Of course, since the camera uses a CMOS...

Hi Phil,

the estimate for time to completion should be better, but not perfect.

Glad the other fixes worked for you :)

cheers,

Re: Problems with Dither and Debayer

Hi, could you test this image in APP please? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YM4LwsgaR3ajXk5lXOiGEGlE1coK6qNP/view?usp=sharing The word 'STATION' should be the right way up and in red. I'd be interested in the answers to the following questions 1) Is the image right way up or upside down 2) Does th...

Re: Bug with dark frame + black level adjustment

Hi, I honestly don't see the clipping you describe when I test with the frames that you shared. Here's what I see using the light frame and dark frame in the test camera (set to mono16). Capture.JPG While there are a few pixels clipped to zero value, they are very much in the minority. The same happ...

Re: Problems with Dither and Debayer

Hi, First on the guiding - I have never noticed a full notification in PHD2 when guiding, but I always see a 'Dither' mark in the guiding graph when SharpCap requests a dither, like this. Capture.JPG Do you see that? Are you expecting something more than that? Maybe I should update my PHD2 (on 2.6.9...
