Re: QHY minicam5s-c only displays mono
Please can you just confirm which version of SharpCap you are using? The latest QHY SDK version is in SharpCap 3.0 beta (build 3.0.3830 and later). Please check with this version (or the full version of 3.0 which is due later today) in case they have fixed this bug already.
thanks,
Robin

Re: Error during preview
Oops, sorry - got muddled - you are not on the Creator's update, but the previous Win10 build. My comments above still apply to the Creator Update. Ray, did you install/uninstall anything else even vaguely video related?

Re: Error during preview
Yes, it's obvious that the Creators update is doing something horrible to webcams. I thought (briefly) that I had a fix as I made some code changes and got the Xbox cam working. Then I switched to a different camera which failed and then when I went back to the Xbox cam that failed too but with a di...

Re: QHY minicam5s-c only displays mono
Hi,
I suspect this is a bug in the QHY SDK, since the only way the code can show just those colour options is if the camera is reporting itself as mono
I will pass this bug on to them.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Error during preview
Hi Ray, thanks for the further update - I'm unsure so far what your problem is if you are not on the creator update. I have just tested the creator update and the news is not good - on a fresh Win10 install, before the creator update I got the following webcams to work correctly: SPC900 MS Lifecam C...

Re: Error during preview
Ok, so it sounds like the Win 10 Creators update has broken things for a lot of people and in other applications too - that's not nice of Microsoft! :( I haven't tried the update yet on any computers, but will try to load it up later on and see what I can see. That obviously doesn't apply to Pablo w...

Re: Error during preview
Hi Alain, from the log the camera starts up properly and immediately sends an 'Abort' event to SharpCap, which shuts it down again. Did you use the Vista driver from this page - http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/cpindex.pl?ctn=SPC900NC/00&hlt=Link_Software&mid=Link_Software&scy=GB&s...

Re: Mac version for real-time viewing
Sorry to say that there's no chance of a Mac version - I'd have to rewrite the whole UI from scratch and a good deal of the rest of the program too.
