Ah, that's good - glad to have problems that go away before I even get a chance to reply!
cheers,
Robin

Re: LRGB Stacking
I assume you mean controlling a filter wheel and then automatically collecting the different colour channels and luminance in a single operation. It's something that has been suggested by others and I am undecided about it so far. I think that it will be best to leave this aside until I have written...

Re: Special guide scope compatible?
Hi Bjorn, this should be fine - the other end of the scale (small field of view) is more of a problem. You could always use a smaller ROI to drop the FOV, but I don't think you will need to. There is a small loss of accuracy due to the reduced magnification, but again not enough to worry about - ali...

Re: Orion Starshoot AutoGuider
Hi Mitch, glad to hear it's working for you. Saw your post over on the Altair google group about the ZWO too - the horizontal bands there look like an artifact of the hot pixel removal when using dark subtraction in SharpCap - that tends to happen if the dark being used doesn't match the camera sett...

Re: Can not allocate memory...
Hi, the error message you are seeing ('cannot allocate memory because no size has been set') is coming from DirectShow, which is the Microsoft technology that supports the camera drivers. If you search for the message on google you will find hundreds of people complaining about getting it in all sor...

Re: Frame count
Hi Neil, at the moment the capture settings file gets written when the capture starts, so adding the frame count isn't a quick change. Having said that, there is already work being done at capture completion when WinJUPOS naming is being used, so it should be possible. One for the todo list. cheers,...

Re: Stars in preview window randomly become blue-ish color
Hi, In your log I can see this message repeated in two places Stopping preview to change Debayer Preview This indicates that something (possible a capture profile you are loading) is setting the value of the 'Debayer Preview' control from it's normal value of 'On' to one of the other options - proba...

Re: SharpCap does not recognise Flee3 cameras
Ah, interesting... looking over the log from your bug report I can see this entry near the top FlyCapture2Managed.FC2Exception: Unsupported Hardware Interface. That's telling me that SharpCap isn't able to talk to your PointGrey camera directly, so you are ending up using the camera via the DirectSh...

Re: Final 3.0 Beta Build Available
Hi Charles, thanks for the detailed description of the problem - I think it has lead me straight to the code which is causing the issue, which is great! SharpCap 3 waits for the focuser to report that it is not moving before sending it a move command - that was added because I was seeing errors caus...
