Re: SC doesn't work with Gemini Telescope.NET ASCOM driver
Thanks, Robin. I will install it and give it the smoke test tomorrow... we are in the early stages of a major snowstorm here. But I can install it remotely... If it doesn't blow up when I try to move the mount we are probably good. Based on the weather its probably a week or two before I can try it ...

Re: SC doesn't work with Gemini Telescope.NET ASCOM driver
Funny you should mention that... I collected all the logs from Sharpcap and ascom this afternoon and ran an ascom diagnosis for comic relief.
Attached is the sharpcap log.

Re: SC doesn't work with Gemini Telescope.NET ASCOM driver
Robin, I am getting the same error when I try to control my Gemini-2/GM-8 using Sharpcap 3.2 and current Ascom 6.4sp1. Windows 10x64, current Gemini.net. Same error as reported by Calum. MoveAxis set 'axisPrimary' is an invalid value. The valid range is guiding, centering or slewing speeds. I have b...

Re: QHY183c TEC problems with Sharpcap 3.2
Robin,
I will troll their site again, but that is not the version I get. Now I do install the x64 versions because I am running a 64 bit OS.

Re: QHY183c TEC problems with Sharpcap 3.2
In the install that is on my machine, the qhyccd.dll is version 18.5.2 in both locations -- the QHYCCD directory tree and Sharpcap. Also, Sequence Generator Pro connects to the QHY183c and operates the camera TEC correctly. One difference, though, is SGP connects through the ascom interface, not dir...

Re: QHY183c TEC problems with Sharpcap 3.2
Its funny because it doesn't behave that way with either SGP or their own Ezcap. I have been using it on manual and typically it is around 10% power when shut down. So no, when reconnecting its back to full throttle... be nice if it just went back to the way I left it. BTW... with the unending strea...

QHY183c TEC problems with Sharpcap 3.2
I just got my QHY183c back from the vendor and wanted to comment that the 'auto' temperature control does not seem to work. I can adjust the power manually in the window to get approximately the amount of cooling I want. But if I enable 'auto' , the temperature setpoint is ignored and cooling power ...

Re: Tuning Memory Allocations
Thanks, Robin. I saw the display at the bottom of the screen, thanks for identifying what it is. And yes, a display of tuneable resources is always helpful if there are user adjustments. Don't know how Windoze is currently, but when I was writing this kind of code there was always a balancing act as...

Re: Tuning Memory Allocations
Thanks, Robin. I had seen that documentation for the memory tab. But my question was more of how to see what the actual utilization was so I could tell if my memory allocation settings were appropriate. Back in the old days was used to seeing memory allocation values on various OS tools (VMS, Unix, ...

Tuning Memory Allocations
I see in the settings there are two sliders for adjusting the memory allocation for read buffers and stacking space. Is there any information or indicators available to assist in evaluating actual usage or tuning the allocation? I see some stuff on the bottom of the screen when I am doing a capture ...
