Good idea. I'm not even sure what "packed" means anyway

Thanks Robin. It's not a high priority, since 12-bit packed works fine.

Yes, the Mono12 FITS file displays wrongly in FitsLiberator too. I have put the files on https://neutronoptics.com/downloads/Mono12.fits https://neutronoptics.com/downloads/Mono12packed.fits and https://neutronoptics.com/downloads/Mono8.fits

Re: I can't get SharpCap 4.0.79440 to work with Basler Pylon6
It's all working ! And I'm not quite sure why :-) I uninstalled Pylon then reinstalled v6.1.1 (on a different computer), choosing the "Developer" option rather than "User". I don't know what difference if any that makes, but then both SharpCap 32-bit and 64-bit recognised the cam...

Re: I can't get SharpCap 4.0.79440 to work with Basler Pylon6
Rhanks for your perserverence Robin. I uninstalled Pylon, reinstalled v6.1.1 and got both SharpCap4 32-bit and 64-bit to connect to the camera. But I'm still having trouble with flakey display, both in the Pylon Viewer and SharpCap. If I get it to work smoothly, I'll report back. Thanks again. Alan

And here is my log for 64-bit SharpCap4, which complains that my 64-bit CPU doesn't support AVX, but otherwise works. Alan.

Re: I can't get SharpCap 4.0.79440 to work with Basler Pylon6
Thanks Robin. Re-connecting the Gig cable and rescanning for cameras did not help, even after rebooting :-) The log (attached) flagged the camera list as "invalid". This is with Pylon6.1.1.18345 64-bit. Curiously although the Pylon About me says its C++ SDK 6.1.1.18345 it also says Pylon v...

I can't get SharpCap 4.0.79440 to work with Basler Pylon6
I can use a Basler GigE acA 1920-40gm camera with Basler's Pylon6.1.1 64-bit drivers and viewer, but the camera is not recognised by either 32-bit or 64-bit SharpCap4. With a similar FLIR GigE camera, I had to use 32-bit (or 64-bit) versions for both the Point Grey FlyCap and SharpCap software, but ...

Re: Settings bug reappears in v.4.0.7806.0
Sorry for the late reply Robin. Lots of deadlines this week. I had no problem finding and deleting the folder of SmartCap settings, and all is now working perfectly. Sorry that I did not copy the problem setup file or log. It may have been because I was swapping between two identical FLIR cameras, p...

Settings bug reappears in v.4.0.7806.0
After successive v4 upgrades, my camera settings file is no longer saved to be used on re-launch. I uninstalled SharpCap, deleted all SharpCap files, and did a fressh install of the latest v.4.0.7806.0, but that didn't help. My settings file appears to be corrupted and I don't know how to delete it ...
