Hi,
sorry, no way in the sequencer currently to save or create capture profiles, just to load existing ones. You can make the sequencer save camera settings and restore them later in the sequence, but I don't think that will give you the same flexibility.
cheers,
Robin

Re: sequencer : set dark none
Hi, in the sequencer there is a 'Use dark frame' step. Although it says that it is a file that you should select (and it offers a browse button), you can type into the box as well. Just enter 'None' as the filename and that should work. You can also use the 'Set <ControlName> to <Control Value>' ste...

Re: Quark Chromo UV/IR cut
Hi, I have a quark and use it with an 81mm scope. I decided to have a 2" UV/IR cut filter even though the decision according to the Daystar information was marginal. The filter is on the 2" nosepiece of the diagonal. What I can tell you is this... * You cannot fit a 2" filter to a qua...

Re: Stretch Mode
Hi,
can you send me a screenshot showing the issue please - that doesn't seem to happen for me in testing, so I'm wondering if somehow the button is slightly different on your setup than on mine here.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Weird colors over ASI585MC gain/exposure limit
Hi, it could be that the binning is adding up the pixel values and not dealing properly with the case that the total is bigger than the usual maximum pixel value. What it should do is set the result to that maximum, but it could be letting the numbers wrap around. It's almost certainly a software is...

Re: Capture area different than image size Incident
Hi Brian, if the image size was half the expected size then either maybe you put the camera into 2x2 binning mode and left it in that mode without intending to, or possibly went into 2x2 mode and then came out again, which can leave the camera in 1x1 mode but with a reduced resolution on some Altair...

Re: Pegasus FocubeCube V2 Error Message- failed to connect
Hi Brian, do you have the latest version of the Pegasus 'Unity' software installed? That's worth checking as if it has been a while since you updated you may have the older ASCOM drivers that Pegasus created (but they no longer update those older drivers). I personally have a focus cube, and I have ...

Re: QHY5III200M with much more noise after v4.0.9545 upgrade
Hi, the values you get with the latest SDK are really odd - they only make sense if the data coming back from the camera has only 9 bits of information in it (rather than the 12 you would expect). For instance at gain 0, the ratio between the FWD and the e/ADU is 512, but we would expect 4096 in 12 ...

Re: The 32 or 64 bits dilemma - QHY Polemaster and Sharpcap
Hi Frank, I think I'm right in saying that the Polemaster camera is very similar to the QHY USB2 guide cameras in terms of the sensor and how it talks to the computer, so you will need to install the 'System Driver' to allow it to be properly detected by Windows. However once that is installed, it s...

Re: QHY5III200M with much more noise after v4.0.9545 upgrade
Hi, thanks Jean-Francois. Those figures are effectively the same to within the expected margin of error of the analysis, so it looks like nothing significant has changed in terms of the camera response to gain in 16 bit mode. Was the original problem happening in 16 bit mode or 8 bit mode? cheers, R...
