Re: sharpcap 3.1 and .net Framework 4.62
Hi Robin, Just to let you know that I have installed Microsoft Remote Desktop on my PC, following your advice on using a PC. I can now download easily to Eagle 2. So thanks again. Just one impassioned plea: Please can you make PHD2 dithering work on normal image capture, completely separate from Liv...

sharpcap 3.1 and .net Framework 4.62
I know this is a bit of a blast from the past but I take it that Sharpcap 3.1 does not require .net Framework 4.62? 3.1 works on my Eagle 2, but trying to download 3.2 does not work. From previous replies from Robin and Nick I know that I need 4.62 for 3.2 to work, However, I have no idea how to ins...

Camera and HP Pavilion Laptop Issue
Hi, I have two possibly related problems A) When I connect my AA 183C ProTEC to my new HP Pavilion laptop the message I receive is "Your camera seems to have stopped responding..." When I follow the instructions on how to proceed, then SharpCap occasionally works when I unplug and replug a...

Re: Combining dark frames with different black points
Hi Robin, Thanks for your reply. I will look at my Pixinsight and see how this could be done. Otherwise, when adding to my dark files library I will record the Black Point as well as the other exposure and temperature data. Thanks again. Colin PS Making good use of Smart Histogram and Brain, (I hope...

Combining dark frames with different black points
I have two sets of dark frames both at 180s Gain300. However one has a Black Point of zero and the other a BP of 10. Can I combine these into one larger file for my Dark library?

Brain and High Dynamic Range targets
Hi, There is something I might not be getting with Smart Histogram's Brain. If Brain gives the best equivalents for exposure based on the background sky, how does that square with the need to have exposure blending with high dynamic range targets. For example M42 really needs two exposures, (maybe e...
