Flat Frame Not Applied to Live Stack
While using Version 3.1.5059 tonight I believe that my flat frame was not being applied to Live Stack. However, the flat frame appeared to be correctly applied during a live view. I determined this because there was a rather prominent dust donut on the lower left. In live if I selected and deselecte...

Automated Flat Frame Exposure and Gain
Is it possible to do for flat frames what you have done for light frames?
By this I mean, an automated process that measures the flat frame and determines the best exposure and gain.

This post answered all of the question I had for the sensor analysis except one:
Does the BIN setting matter?

Capture Dark/Flat Frames
Whatever you set the number of dark frames to capture you get 1 more than requested.
Whatever you set the number of flat frames to capture you get 1 more than requested.
In the file structure a Bin of 1 does not get it's own sub-file. All other Bin values get a separate sub-file.

Dark Library Creation
While making a dark library this weekend I came up with the following. 1. I had to manually account for the BIN setting because the BIN setting is not included in the path or file name. 2. The number of darks to capture resets to 10 after each capture. I was using 25 and had to remember to set the 1...

Set Priority to High Fixes Lock-ups on Surface Pro 4
I was having significant issues with SharpCap locking-up or freezing. However, I believe I have found a solution. Set the SharpCap priority to High. I have found this to make my Surface Pro 4 run much smoother and not lock-up. Real-time may also work, but I have not verified this. The priority will ...

Re: ASI1600MC Debayer Pattern
I found a related matter.
Changing "Color Space", "Capture Area", or "Binning" resets the "Output Format" to "Auto". This can caused files to be inadvertently captured in a file format that was not intended.

ASI1600MC Parameters Change and Scope Control Setting Reset
When I have my Celestron mount connected to the "Scope Controls" if I make a change in the "Capture Format and Area" the "Rate" setting in the "Scope Controls" reset to default. Example: In the "Scope Controls" set the "Rate" to "16x&q...

ASI1600MC Debayer Pattern
Changing the "Flip" parameter alters the Debayer Pattern required for correct color. For example if you choose Debayer Pattern "On" and Flip "None". The screen image has correct color. However, changing the Flip parameter causes the screen image to have incorrect color....
