Re: Offline Smart Histogram Brain Analysis

I do however understand that different types of filters differentially impact sky brightness and would make it trickier to account for such differences.

Offline Smart Histogram Brain Analysis

I think the Smart Histogram Brain analysis is one of the most wonderful tools in Sharpcap, amongst many. Because of this, I feel it would be very useful to be able to access recommended exposures without having a camera connected, since one can input their sky brightness and have the analysis genera...

Manual Filter Wheel Slot Capacity

Would it be easy to add more slots to the manual filter wheel? I don't use an electronic filter wheel, I screw a single filter in front of the camera for each session. However, I do currently have up to 15 filters I alternate with, based on the purpose of the imaging session. I've since a long time ...

Re: ASCOM and Offset -- a call for expertise

Can the smart histogram analysis use this to suggest minimum "viable" offset value? Because I've seen it suggest values that would be too low for a dark frame resulting in clipped data.

Re: Version 3.2.6263 Freezing with 2 ZWO Cameras

Hi Minos, Do you also see things working properly if you go back to 3.2.6248? Just trying to confirm that because as far as I can tell there are no changes to the ZWO camera handling between those two versions! Cheers, Robin Hi Robin, thanks for getting back to me. The problem seems to have been th...

Re: Version 3.2.6263 Freezing with 2 ZWO Cameras

I can confirm this also with my asi290mc-cool and asi290mm-cool. I loaded the native drivers for both, but haven't tried loading an ascom driver for one and native for the other.

Re: Sharpcap and Sequence Generator Pro

I find the semi automated focusing routine in Sharpcap more to my liking than SGP and I have used both programs extensively. If you absolutely must have fully automated focusing, then you'll need to switch between programs disconnecting and reconnecting the camera accordingly. If not, you might also...
