Hi,
I think they should work under tha ToupTek SDK, so with basically full support. I don't have any myself to test this, but have had reports of success from other users.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Show UCAC4 stars in the Deep Sky Annotation
Hi Jean-Francois, yes, the 'HasPlateSolveInfo' is just yes/no - if you want more then you can check the PixelPositionProvider which can map pixel co-ordinates to/from sky co-ordinates. The reset is only manual, so if you paste multiple times then the in-memory catalog will grow. Assuming you are onl...

Re: Show UCAC4 stars in the Deep Sky Annotation
Hi Jean-Francois, yes, your interpretation of the functions is basically correct - to clarify ReloadAllCatalogs - this reloads all the catalog data including the built in catalogs and any custom catalogs found on disk LoadTextAsCustom - this expects the catalog data to be in the string (not a filena...

Hi, there are two things that you need to check 1) There will be a red box on the image - this is the selection area that is being used to mark out the star to be measured. If that box is over background dark sky rather than a star then you need to move it. If you can't see the red selection box at ...

Re: SharpCap & Eclipse image registration
Hi Howard, I haven't ever tried stabilizing a video like that, so not sure if any of the usual tools would succeed, but would be worth giving them a try. You might find that the best bet is to process the images in batches (say stabilize 50 or 100 frames at a time). In that shorter section, the feat...

Re: QHY174mGPS wrong exposure interval.
Hi Tim, in the case that transferring the frame over USB takes longer than capturing the frame, the camera has to wait idle between finishing one frame and starting the next to allow the data transfer to happen. This will, as you say, lead to a gap between the exposures given by (1.0 / frame rate) -...

Re: Notifications are blocking images when doing Sol'Ex Capture
Hi,
would it work if there was an option to display the notifications at the bottom instead of the top? I would have to check how that interacts with things like the controls and histogram panel, but it might be the easiest solution.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Plot profile - slitless spectroscopy
Hi Matt, thanks for explaining this. Can I make sure that I understand the request properly... Basically, for the selection area, SharpCap would look at each column of pixels in the selection and pick a value for that column - this might be either the average pixel value above some background level ...

Re: Allow different +RA and -RA rates in Feature Tracking
Hi Mike, thanks for the info - it gives me some things to think about, such as what happens when the move commanded is smaller than the mount backlash... If you move opposite to the tracking direction then the mount may eventually move the desired amount, but it will basically stop tracking in order...

Re: field rotation, live stacking
Hi,
good luck - I did wonder about the effect that moving the camera would have on focus. I guess if the camera has a 1.25 or 2" nosepiece rather than being fixed by a screw thread then you should be able to rotate it without signifiant movements affecting the focus...
