Re: Atik Horizon
Robin, Phil is not using an Atik Infinity camera which is a CCD he is using an Horizon camera which is CMOS (same sensor as the ZWO ASI1600MC). I would love to use Sharpcap 3.2 Pro with my colour & mono Infinity cameras in order to take advantage of the dark and flat feature, but using the ASCOM...

Re: Flats
I have noticed the same issue with the flat counting procedure (not sure if dark does the same) and thought that something is strange about this behavior.

Re: Drift correction
I agree with Robin and guiding will make a big difference, however, accurate tracking IS something that you need even for EAA.

Re: Taking dark flats?
Hi Robin Thank you for the helpful information! I will then take 25 flats with white balance set to auto (C9.25 @ F7.2 flats are 1/60th of a sec long at 350 gain using my ASI294MC) with mono and bias selected for my SharpCap flat master. I tend to set brightness/offset, gain, and cooling using the s...

Taking dark flats?
Hi Robin I want to try out dark flats and I was wondering if this is possible? I would first figure out my flat time for e.g. 1 sec for my flats then cover the scope and use the dark capture to take 1 sec dark's for a master with the same brightness, gain and temperature as the flats . I would then ...

Re: Finer color adjustment in Live Stack
Hi Robin The current colour adjustments are fantastic in live stacking except I also agree with the other comments. I find when using the sliders many times, I must click on a particular slider for that extra colour and it is too strong. We could try a less range of colour control if that will make ...

Robin
Sorry, I forgot to mention that the flat for M1 was captured last week so not with the latest build but applied using the latest build. It was a mono flat with no bias used but again same setting as the lights.

Here are the M1 images with and without flats but dark's used for both. I had a lot of thin clouds so colour balance was hard to determine due to excessive red from clouds.
