I'm using a Rising Tech IMX224. I thought I was using the latest, but found out that they issued a new set of software over the summer. I'll give that a go and get back to you.

Crash capturing darks
Robin I had a crash last night when trying to capture some darks. The report is attached. Best AccessViolationException at System.RuntimeType.InvokeDispMethod(System.String, System.Reflection.BindingFlags, System.Object, System.Object[], Boolean[], Int32, System.String[])_#87432.error.zip John

.txt file information
Robin
In the.txt file that accompanies an image, there's a data field that gives Total Exposure(s). What is this?
In a recent image, the file indicated 4 second exposure, 14 stacked frames, and Total Exposure(s) of 5.993

Re: Dark Capture Problem
Robin: I just looked through this file, and found it might not be related to the darks at all, but to a [problem that happened when I unplugged the ASCOM connection for the mount, but did not remove it from the hardware configuration. I get an error message, and perhaps this is the file created - I ...

Dark Capture Problem
Robin: I'm having some trouble capturing darks. When I attempt to capture them the system hangs up part way through the collection of the images. It simply freezes, and I need to launch Task Manager to shut it down. There seems to be no repeatable instance of how far SC gets before it freezes - some...

Re: use polar align feature with DSLR or on a budget?
In this hobby, cheap is a relative term! Best deal I know of for you might be too buy only the camera, controller and nosepiece from the revolution imager kit camera. I understand that Mike at OCT sells these for roughly $100 USD, but that you need to call him to get this deal/price. Ive heard it de...

Plate Solve Time
Robin - I'm not sure if my Facebook post made it - so I will repeat here. The polar alignment plate solver reports that it took 1.2 seconds. I'm using an older, notoriously slow Dell Latitude d430 running 64 bit windows 7 pro. The computer controls the camera, an ASCOM mount and an ASCOM focuser thr...

Re: Rising Tech cameras -- same as Altair?
Robin - I have one of these RT cameras. Since you may be getting some more questions on these cameras (they appear to be popular in Australia of late) - here's some information. While they use the same sensor as one of the Altair cameras, they are not the same as the Altair. Or, at least I can repor...
