Hi,
Did a very quick test regarding the issue described above (W7-64, ASI1600, SC 4.0.8894): no problems.

FITS header times with exposures < 1 ms
Hi Robin, For special reasons I worked with very short exposure times using the latest SC (4.0.8861 pro 32bit under W10 64bit) and a QHY174GPS and an ASI1600. With both cameras and exposure times of 1 ms and below, the FITS headers DATE-AVG, DATE-END, DATE-OBS are all identical. ASI1600 example: SIM...

Re: New Feature : Deep Sky Image Annotation
Hi, Jean-Francois, as you know already, your catalog is wrong - I don't know why, but you must find it out :o I solved your Capture_annotation_Newton_1.jpg with SC (as I wrote, ANSVR) it worked. Then I solved it under an Ubuntu VM using the Ubuntu platesolve package. This worked too. Following is on...

Re: New Feature : Deep Sky Image Annotation
Hi Jean-Francois, A little test: Have a look at my post #49 here ( https://forums.sharpcap.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=27451#p27451 ). The artificial image there comes from CDC, I attach it. The star in the mid is UCAC4-559-049250 = HIP51187 = HD90511. And the star's coordinates in the code section there ...

Re: JWST James Webb Space Telescope
Hi Carlo, A high quality image, but (maybe I'm missing something) I don't think you can image the JWST in its current position with only 60mm. At least at the position you marked there are exactly two nearby (separation: +00°01'11.1") stars: a.png It seems that you are in the right starfield bu...
