Re: Exposure problem using ZWO ASI 220 mm mini
My ASI482MC camera has the same. And is has to do with the Brightness setting. Somehow it doesn't have a graduate effect when changing, it goes from normal to overexposed in a heartbeat. So try to lower the Brightness setting and see if that helps when you are at that point in your exposure duration...

Re: Can't update Sharpcap Pro
Hi Harvey
Does this happen with the update feature within SharpCap or with a downloaded version?
If it is within SharpCap, try to download the latest version here and see what happens when installing that?

Minor bug in RC4 version
Hi Robin A minor bug in the RC4 version. In the Settings / Filenames / Filename Templates. The pop-up window that appears when the ? there is pressed, stays active over everything on screen. Found it out by accident, it's both in the normal and night vision. Like I said, a minor bug :) Menno Clipboa...

Planetary nebula NGC 7076 / Abell 75
NGC 7076 / Abell 75 A small (0.93 x 0.93 arcmin apparent size) planetary nebula in Cepheus with a magnitude of around 14. The nebula has not been captured very often (certainly not in this FOV) and there is little information to be found. Even the distance is not really known: I was able to find 2 ...

Re: Hot Pixels
You can counter the hot pixels like this with taking dark calibration frames. You can either make those manually or use the SharpCap wizard for that (which is the easiest way). For explanation of dark frames and how to make and use them, see https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/2.9/17_CapturingandUsingDarkFr...

Re: Correct white balance (R & B) for ZWO camera
Hi and welcome There is no "need" to change it. It's more like an advise. As far as I know, ZWO has that as default values for the sensor to counter the effect of the green channel being dominant. But for most color camera's, green is always dominant. That's why astro processing software a...

Re: Long exposure possible issue
From what I can find, the sv305 has exposure times up to 1800sec (30 minutes). So, yes

Re: Long exposure possible issue
Hi and welcome
The Svbony 105 is made for planetary and moon captures. Therefor it has no long exposures build in. So the 2 seconds exposure you see, is the maximum exposure for this camera.

Re: Side menu bar
I tested it too and here also no problems: the sidebar stays visible until I move the mouse away from it.
Also tried the way you described, highlighting a number and then type.
Which version number of SharpCap are you using?
