Re: M51 combine two sessions + bonus M63
Hi Brian, Nice image and it shows the value of more data adding session one to session 2. How are you finding Affinity as I have only recently started using it and so far find it very useful have you tried the Astrophotography Persona for stacking as I am hoping they carry on developing that side as...

Re: Orion / Running Man Stacked + Processed in Affinity Photo
Hi Tim, The Affinity image was just the first go with the Affinity Photo new Astrophotography persona, I used Sigma Clip in the test for stacking but should really have used median for the number of frames I had so think might try it again when I have a moment. The image is a little dark but I am st...

Orion / Running Man Stacked + Processed in Affinity Photo
Hi, Sorry for the double post of this image but this was a test with the latest version of Affinity photo as it now has an Astrophotography option that can stack and use all the calibration data within the software. Re: Wishing well on a short exposure - camera testing.
Another nice image and wide field of view especially for the 20 min integration time, always fascinating to see how many stars are out there as from my location with the naked eye you do not see many.

Sensor Analysis Re Analysis interval
Hi, I have had the new camera for nearly twelve months now and was wondering is there any rule of thumb as to if and when it is advisable to run a new sensor analysis as I presume things will change in the electronics for better or worse over time and how much effect this will have on the brain func...

Re: Mars in 4K from Rovers
Brian, They are cracking images and like you say even more so when you consider what was involved with capturing them, and I also feel for you with the weather as the UK is not renowned for it's blue skies and sunshine it was three months since I had a clear night and then we had two Wednesday's in ...

In APP you can also correct it using the star colour calibration tool as there a sliders to adjust green or magenta casts in the image there is a video were Mabula shows how to use the star colour correction tool and the start of this is removing a green cast from a wide field DSLR stack. I think th...
