Re: Lost the color
Thanks for the replies! I'll try to study over the article on debayering this evening. I created a folde...

Lost the color
Hi, Last night I tried live stacking for the first time. I focused on NGC40 and got everything ready and began live stack and let it run 50 images and then I ran 10 dark files. I came in and ran Registax 6 and saw that the image was B&W not color. See below the image and the text. Stack_16bits_5...

Hello everyone, Last night I did the live stack on NGC40 and took 50 images at 30 second exposure with gain set on 380 as per the brain on the histogram suggested.I did 10 darks and 10 flats. The images looked pretty good but when I opened Registax 6 the color red was gone. What did I do wrong? Dano...

Re: Live Stacking Issues With Revolution Imager R2
I haven't gone far enough to have any problems Live stacking yet, my question is about the picture posted showing Sharcap settings, Direct show. That's not even showing up on my Sharpcap version. Screenshot (19).png I have started getting more familiar with the settings listed in the Revolution Imag...

P.S.
The video kept freezing up about halfway through so I never found out anything past the Dud showing Horsehead Nebulae.

How do I use the sensor analysis?
I was reading the manual and saw a link on youtube for sensor analysis, about half way through I decided to do it. The light condition was good so I ran the tool "sensor analysis" and came up with the final results displayed in the lower right corner. My measured bit depth was 12 and all t...
