Could you please share a log file of when plate solving doesn't work in SharpCap?
You can find the logs at C:\Users\your-username\AppData\Local\SharpCap\logs .
Robin can then look at it and see if anything is going on.

Yes, that is possible. In the green banner is a notice then, saying that the difference is less then 0,01 (I believe that's the value) and that a re-sync is not needed.

My ASI482MC camera has the same. And is has to do with the Brightness setting. Somehow it doesn't have a graduate effect when changing, it goes from normal to overexposed in a heartbeat. So try to lower the Brightness setting and see if that helps when you are at that point in your exposure duration...

You can counter the hot pixels like this with taking dark calibration frames. You can either make those manually or use the SharpCap wizard for that (which is the easiest way).
