I know we're not using same software / hardware except for SharpCap. Just giving example of what I did with my setup when I encountered the same offset as you're experiencing when the plate solver found a solution and the subsequent slew and sync was off.

Re: Plate solving ok; sync doesn't work properly
Not sure if this will help but when I had this error with Astrotortilla I did the following and have had no issues since. In my case I used JNOW but I'm guessing if everything was was set for J2000 it would also work. It's worth a shot giving it a try. Seems like if all the software is playing from ...

Last Live Stacks of 2019
One final clear night before the end of the decade. Had clear dark skies after the sliver of moon set but gusty wind shut down the viewing about 2 AM on 12/31. PHD2 was correcting fine until wind gust reached the 20+ MPH. Created new set of master dark frames 50 x 30 seconds 300 gain 10 brightness. ...

+1 for undo function!
I mostly use Live Stacking feature and have built a PC specifically with 16 GB of RAM that I could upgrade. Maybe make this an opt in check box with a pop up warning indicating memory usage requirement.

Re: Live Stack with Flat Frame Bug?
Thanks Robin
Just to make sure we're on the same page I'm not using dark frames during the flat creation only during imaging, specifically live stacking. I'll be sure to test once the next version is available and I' have skies.

Re: Flats question in Live Stacking
The solution I developed was based on practical test that worked for me and the gear I have. As you can see from the thread you mentioned I did extensive testing to arrive at a solution that worked for me. That's not to say keeping the brightness the same for you lights and flat will not work. I'd t...

Re: All Sky Plate Solver question
I don't use ASPS but have been using Astrotortilla successfully for plate solving with SharpCap for over a year now. Sounds like you've got ASPS actually reading your star field and generating a solution that it then send the mount to slew to. You're reporting the slew are still off. Every time I've...
