I usually focus on a nearby star first. Much more straightforward than trying to focus on a planet.

No one ever identified what caused the issue or what they did to fix it.

I ended up working with the vendor I purchased the camera through, Highpoint Scientific, to send the camera back to ZWO for repair under warranty. I don't want to make a big deal of this, but I feel like I have to wade through too many lines in the saved camera settings text file to find what I am looking for. Would there be a way to not include some of the superfluous settings, or allow more user control over what settings are written to this...

I have a 1-1/4 inch T adapter and visual back on my 8" Celestron SCT and with proper flats and darks, it completely addresses vignetting.
