Hello and welcome
Could you check in the SharpCap Settings, under the tab General, if the option Automatically restore last used camera settings when opening a camera is checked?

Re: Suggestion for longer stabilization time with GOTO Image
Hi Jean-Francois
As far as I know that setting is for when dithering is used. It's set to 5 seconds here but when using GOTO Image, it's for sure no 5 seconds.
Maybe indeed an idea to use that setting for GOTO image too.

Suggestion for longer stabilization time with GOTO Image
Robin I use the GOTO Image rather a lot but one thing makes it less efficient. When the mount slews to the plate solved position of the image, there is the "Wait for next live view frame" step and then the plate solve of the live view. But more often then not, that live view is still stabi...

Re: Vertical line noise in live-stack
Hello and welcome My experience with this was power related. I hooked up my gear with an extension cable to a power outlet in my livingroom. But I also had lines in my captures. This was almost reduced to zero once I connected it to a grounded power outlet from my kitchen. The outlet in my livingroo...

The next thing then is if it's really in your view? How do you check the position of your scope?

Re: SV205 issue
Hi Matt and welcome If you get the moon in view and it's sharp, then Jupiter should show just fine. So no need for a extension tube. I did see that the SV205 has a maximum exposure of 1 second. But if your Gain setting is too low, it will probably not show. Try to increase the Gain setting and see i...

Re: I can't do plate solving with sharpcap
Hi and welcome
Could you please share a log file of when plate solving doesn't work in SharpCap?
You can find the logs at C:\Users\your-username\AppData\Local\SharpCap\logs .
Robin can then look at it and see if anything is going on.

Re: Plate Solve Question
Hi
Yes, that is possible. In the green banner is a notice then, saying that the difference is less then 0,01 (I believe that's the value) and that a re-sync is not needed.

Re: Exposure problem using ZWO ASI 220 mm mini
My ASI482MC camera has the same. And is has to do with the Brightness setting. Somehow it doesn't have a graduate effect when changing, it goes from normal to overexposed in a heartbeat. So try to lower the Brightness setting and see if that helps when you are at that point in your exposure duration...
