Can you independently specify frame rate and exposure time?
Is there a way to independently specify camera frame rate and exposure time in SharpCap for a ZWO290MC camera. I am trying to capture videos of lunar transit of ISS. I need to keep the exposure time down to about 1 ms to avoid blurring due to ISS angle rate but the USB transfer rates can't keep up t...

Re: Live Stack With Planetary Images
Thanks for the prompt responses. I am blown away by the Live Stack mode for DSO. Live Stacking is a bit hit at our outreach pblic viewing sessions. I know that planetary Live Stack would be challenging but boy if you could pull it off...….

Displaying Full Screen Image
Is there a way to display a live stack image in a full screen format? I am involved with a lot of public outreach star parties and often have a several viewers trying to see the image as it is captured. Is there anyway to toggle to a full screen version? A full screen will also eliminate the bright ...

I want to thank everyone who replied to my original post with helpful suggestions. I am new to SharpCap and the SharpCap forum but it looks like I am in good hands going forward with such a helpful group.

Re: DSS is Not Debayering RAW16 Images
Thanks for the helpful replies to my post. I did some experimenting and found that DSS will debayer files with RAW16 format *.fits. Not the case with *.tif or *.png files generated by SharpCap with the ASI294MC-Pro camera. Here is a screen shot with the SharpCap parameters on the left and the DSS de...

DSS is Not Debayering RAW16 Images
I moved up from a Canon 60D DSLR to a ZWOASI294MC (color) camera. I've tried to save my images in RAW16 color format then process these using Deep Space Stacker. The DSS images do not appear to be Debayer, no color and checker board pattern across the image. Any idea what I am doing wrong either on ...

Re: Expected tracking with different alignment levels
Up to about a week ago I used a iOptron phone app and polar telescope to align my CGEM for imaging. I could reliably get 3-4 arc minute alignment accuracy starting about one half hour after sunset. I recently started using the PA feature in SharpCap Pro to achieve alignment accuracies of 20-25 arc s...
