Thanks Robin!! I appreciate your taking the time to get this functionality implemented. This is a huge and very valuable improvement to me.

Re: Dithering Costs a Whole Frame
Hi Robin,
Finally got a chance to test it and it's working GREAT for me. I'm doing 2 minute exposures right now and the dither consumed 15 seconds before live stacking continued.
THANKS!!

Excellent!! I'll download it and give it a try as soon as we get some clear skies and let you know if I find anything unexpected.

Dithering Costs a Whole Frame
Hi Robin, I know that this has been discussed in several different areas but hadn't found it officially logged as a bug. To me it feels more like a bug than a new feature request. For everyone else's benefit, the "issue" is that each time SharpCap performs a dither (through PHD2), it doesn...

Re: PhD2 Dithering Control ETA?
+1 Hi Robin, I'd just like to add my support for this request. It's frustrating to lose a whole light frame (often 2+ minutes of exposure time) when the dithering process only takes a few seconds. This becomes very costly (25% lost frames) if I want to dither every fourth frame over a 3-4 hour perio...

Stacking Multiple Stacks?
Does stacking multiple stacks yield the same result as creating one stack of the total number of frames? For example, suppose that I create a live stack of 100 frames tonight and save as a 16-bit FITS file one evening, then create a live stack of 200 frames of the same image on another night. If I t...

Re: Plate solve questions
I'll piggy-back on this thread. I just tried to use the Plate Solving tool last night and kept getting the error: "Plate solve failed - only - 1 stars found. Maybe too few? Try reducing the 'sigma' value in the SharpCap settings....". It was initially set to a value of 50 and I tried lower...
