At present I run the camera, the mount ( a Celestron ASGT or SLT mount) and the focuser (JMI through a shoestring astronomy FCUSB device) through a powered USB hu...

Re: Crash capturing darks
Updated everything, incluing new ascom focuser driver. All seem to work. The new focuser driver fixed a recent problem with the focuser ( SC couldn't drive it at all). Still experiencing system lock up when trying to capture darks. But now I figured out where the log files are kept - attached is a c...

Re: Crash capturing darks
Well, the new software was two steps forward, 3 back ! I did a reinstall of their drivers and capture software (basically ToupSky rebranded), and now 1) their software recognizes the camera, but doesn't display any image 2) Sharpcap now locks up completely when I attempt to capture darks. It doesn't...

Re: Crash capturing darks
I'm using a Rising Tech IMX224. I thought I was using the latest, but found out that they issued a new set of software over the summer. I'll give that a go and get back to you.

.txt file information
Robin
In the.txt file that accompanies an image, there's a data field that gives Total Exposure(s). What is this?
In a recent image, the file indicated 4 second exposure, 14 stacked frames, and Total Exposure(s) of 5.993
