Re: Horsehead and Flame Nebula ASI2600C
Hi Brian, Thanks for the comments I will have another play with the images to see what else I can bring out and I don't mind people giving me suggestions / constructive critique as how else are we going to improve or learn. Just wish you could suggest something to do about the weather as the last fo...

Re: Horsehead and Flame Nebula ASI2600C
Cheers Tim/Robin, There is a denoise applied as the last layer in affinity but blended at 50% and likewise a clarity adjustment again blended at 50% in t he uploaded image but the background noise was not too bad which I am tending to find with the new camera, and the darks are very clean hence the ...

Re: First year of SHARPCAP PRO 3.2
Nice image of Andromeda, same here been using SharpCap for probably just over four years and it is probably the best decision I ever made and also the cheapest in terms of astrophotography. Even now though I still have nights were everything just goes wrong think it is is the nature of the hobby and...

Hopefully you get to use the new camera soon, I have the ASI2600MC Pro and am real...

Re: NGC 281 The Pacman Nebula in Hubble Palette
Nice image that is one I have never tried so may well give it ago at some point but might buy an Optolong L-Enhance, L-Pro or L-Extreme first still weighing the options. Also fancy ago at Andromeda but means I need to get my ass into gear and sort the back spacing for the ASI2600MC and the Massimo R...

Re: Blue Moon on November 1st, 2020
Nice image, never got to see the actual moon due to rain / howling winds and heavy cloud which is on par for most astronomical events worth looking at were I live

Re: First Narrowband Light with the ASI294MM Pro
Nice image as usual, I have the 1600mm and the microlensing is a pain in the butt especially on things line the horsehead as it just ruins the image. Having just brought the ASI2600MC Pro it will be a while before I look at another camera, just hope they don't bring out a 2600MM as that would be tem...

M33 Triangulum (Oh no not another one)
Hi, Well everyone taking photos of M33 made me want to have ago so first clear night for what seems an eternity and as normal also coincided with a 91% moon tracking about 40 - 45 degrees behind the target all night prime example of murphy's law. So thought sod it will have ago anyway this is a stac...
