FITS Liberator https://www.spacetelescope.org/projects/fits_liberator/
Only work on a copy of your data as the software sometimes saves without being asked.
Here is a good tutorial on how to use it https://www.aao.gov.au/files/NGC6751_Im ... al_CS5.pdf

Save histogram with capture
Robin When saving a FITS or AVI we get the xyz data file + a file xyz.CameraSettings.txt . I have a document which might help get you started - it is for my GPCAM MONO V1. the size is 800k so it will not attach to a post.
If you PM me, we should be able to sort something via email.
Not used the PM yet, so anything might happen.

Re: How to stop Frame drop in SharpCap???
Hello
From File > SharpCap Settings > Filenames TAB
Click 'Test Write Speed' button, then OK
Wait ...... for the test to complete (there is no intermediate feedback).
Post back ALL the figures in the results window + the SharpCap version from Help > About.

Robin
Would there be any danger of driver downgrades if installing say v2.10 and then v2.9 or is each major version self contained?
