Just a small remark:
the newest SC version 4.0.7976 seems not available on the download page.
Still the older version 4.0.7944 is available.

Under Settings>General I deselected "Save capture settings file alongside each capture".
Nevertheless when I save a stacked image the settings file is still saved.
This is a behavior since the first SC editions.

The "Live Stack" window position is changed when leaving and back going to "Live Stack".
In particular the lower Live Stack window is shifted towards the bottom and the histogram buttons are anymore visible.
